'Multi(poly)phonies': Publication and release of new software

Microtonal flute work added to Tetractys catalogue; associated composers' tool now available for download
Multi(poly)phonies, for Kingma system quarter-tone alto flute and guitar, has been published by Tetractys, the specialist independent publisher for new music for low flutes. Hard copies can be purchased here. (You can also view the score online via the Works pages, here.)
An associated tool for composers is also now available to download for free from the Tools/Software page. QTCheck is a Max/MSP patch written in the course of working on Multi(poly)phonies: it checks sequences of notes for awkward fingerings which may affect the speed at which they can be played. Hopefully this will prove to be a great time-saver for other composers writing for this instrument!
